Fresh Food. Shared Purpose. Local Impact.
We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nourishing food—and our Food Pantry Garden is a community-rooted way to help make that possible. Planted and maintained by volunteers, the garden grows produce specifically for our church food pantry, helping neighbors in need enjoy something that too often feels out of reach: fresh fruits and vegetables.
The garden began as a vision in 2018 from church staff member Katelyn Clough and church member Bob Selfe, when Kate was inspired to take action after witnessing the joy a single fresh banana brought to a pantry shopper. Working together, Kate led the fundraising efforts while Bob engineered and implemented the construction—a true collaboration that brought the garden to life.
Thanks to the dedication of local volunteers and generous donors, that vision is now blossoming into something beautiful, with two gardens, one located right next to our thrift shop on 10 North Main Street and the other at a private residence on Packers Falls Road.
In 2025, the Main Street garden was renovated and expanded, allowing us to grow and share even more fresh produce with our neighbors.
Together with community partners and friends, we’re not just growing food, we’re growing hope, health, and connection.

The 2025 renovation of our community garden was led by Elijah Fuller of Scouting Troop 200 as part of his Eagle Scout project. Members of Troop 200 and their families generously donated their time and effort to bring the project to life. Funding for the renovation was provided by scout-led fundraising efforts and a generous grant from the Seacoast Public Health Network (SPHN). The garden's expansion was also made possible through the SPHN grant, with the additional work carried out by dedicated NCC volunteers.
