Pastor Patty

I love serving God and God’s people and have committed my life to loving God and loving my neighbor.  I truly believe that all, (and I really mean all) are welcome into God’s grace and unconditional love – no matter who you are or where you are on your journey of faith, you’re welcome here!

I received my Masters of Divinity degree from Bangor Theological Seminary and completed my clinical pastoral education work at Mercy Hospital and Portsmouth Regional Hospital.  I was ordained by the United Church of Christ, (UCC) in 2014 and my ordination is held by the Rockingham Association.

I have a mission-oriented heart as I live out my faith in action by leading mission trips including an annual mission trip to Guatemala, and sometimes an annual in-country short term mission trip as well. We are excited about mission here at NCC as we serve in many different ways (which you can read about on this site) to bring the love of Christ out into the world!

Some of the ways I have been involved in the community include serving on the Board of the Newmarket Business Association, I am a founding member of the Newmarket Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, and established and co-lead Newmarket Cares Day.  I serve as Chaplain to Newmarket Scouting Troop 200 and truly love supporting this program.  In 2018, I was voted Newmarket Community Leader of the Year, and I’m so grateful to be able to work with this lovely community.  I also serve on the board of International Hands in Service (IHS) through Project Salud y Paz which provides a ministry of health services, health promotion and education to the people of Guatemala leading into a self-sustaining partnership.
